Dating for people who get the lifestyle.
Every member is 18+ and verified. No catfish, no "deployed general" scammers. Just people who know what PCS, ETS and field week mean.

Built for military life, not adapted to it.
No fake soldiers
Every service member verifies their service through a verification partner. If someone says they serve and has no badge, they can't like or match.
Civilians are real too
Civilians pass an ID and selfie check and get a Civilian badge. Everyone here is a real person, on both sides.
We flag the money ask
Gift cards, wire transfers, "leave papers", flight money: if a chat goes there, both people get a warning on the spot.
Your inbox, your rules
Free on every plan. Only verified profiles can like you, cap new likes per day, or choose to send the first message.
Meet people before you move
Got orders? Swipe at your next duty station months before you arrive.
Your unit stays private
Rank, MOS and duty station are on your profile. Your unit only shows to matches, or to nobody. You choose.

We open at 500
The app opens at an installation once 500 people there are on the list, with a real mix of men and women, so the deck is full from day one. Fort Bliss is first.
Questions.
Who can join?
Active duty, National Guard, Reserve, veterans and retirees from every branch, and civilians who want to date them. Everyone is 18 or older. Everyone verifies their age with a photo ID and a selfie; service members also verify their service through a verification partner.
I'm a civilian. Is this for me?
Yes. If you've ever wondered whether the soldier messaging you is real, this is the app for you: every service member here is verified, and the app warns you if anyone asks for money. You get a Civilian badge so they know you're real too. Tap any military term on a profile (MOS, ETS, PCS) and it's explained in plain English.
Is Off Duty connected to the Army or DoD?
No. Off Duty is an independent app built by a service member. It isn't endorsed by the Department of Defense or any branch.
What does it cost?
Off Duty is free to use. Gold ($20 a month) adds unlimited likes, see who liked you and PCS Mode. Platinum ($50 a month) adds messaging before you match and Deployment Mode. Founding members at Fort Bliss get 1 month of Gold free. Prices are the same for everyone, service member or civilian. Quiet Mode and scam alerts are free on every plan.
Why not just use Tinder or Hinge?
Because you move every few years, deploy, and get scammed by fake soldier profiles you never asked for. Off Duty is built around all three.
What do you do with my email?
We use it to tell you when Off Duty opens near you and how many referral weeks you've earned. We don't sell it or share it. Email us to be removed anytime.
